Initial Enquiry

From the outset you will be assisted by an experienced team member who will be able to offer some initial guidance or know how to best direct your call.

Home Visit

Our aim when meeting with you is to listen to your needs and offer our support and services in order to best achieve them. You can rest assured that our experienced team member will have the knowledge to advise if necessary, with planning requirements, building design, costs and programme of works. We will also provide initial guidance on any other matters to consider to ensure a holeistic approach is considered from the outset of every potential project. 

Clear & Detailed Quotations

Our aim when meeting with you is to listen to your needs and offer our support and services in order to best achieve them. You can rest assured that our experienced team member will have the knowledge to advise if necessary on planning requirements, building design, costs and programme of works. We will also provide initial guidance on any other matters to consider to ensure a holistic approach is considered from the outset of every potential project.

Following their initial visit our representative will collate the information taken from your meeting and begin the process of moving forward to the next stage. This may require brief discussions with local authorities, structural engineers or other specialist contractors. From this we will provide a clear and detailed quotation which will layout individual costs for each process of works. In some cases it can be too early to provide exact prices, subject to final design or lack of access to inspect repairs. In such instances we will endeavour to provide estimates based on previous experience.

This should provide you with the opportunity to make a considered decision to proceed or if necessary arrange further meetings where we can revise specifications to achieve an alternative scheme.

Project Management

We employ dedicated project managers who are on hand and assume responsibility for every one of our projects.

This begins from the initial introduction with our clients to health and safety documentation, site set up, scheduling works, instructing sub-contractors and calling up materials. Our project managers are available to meet with clients throughout works to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. They are at hand to attend to any issues that may occur and incorporate any additional works that may be required throughout the project.

Building Regulation & Listed Building Approval

We can work alongside your architects to provide support where necessary with repair schedules of listed buildings or oak frame details in the case of new builds.

Our in-house design and planning service can also offer to support you through the whole process. From initial frame surveys through to applications and final design approval. In some cases we may call upon the additional services of structural engineers or planning experts. We would make this suggestion during the initial meeting and can recommend reputable companies with whom we have previously worked alongside.

Scheduled Works

Our company directly employs a large team of specialist craftsmen and can generally cater for complete projects from start to finish. This enables our contract managers to efficiently control each stage of works and confidently programme works.

Where other contractor’s services are required, we are able to call upon the specialist services of bonifida subcontractors. Working with known subcontractors provides a better level of confidence in both experience and reliability. That said, we welcome the opportunity to work alongside your preferred contractors and will liaise with them to ensure a smooth continuation of works.

Design, Drawings & Technical Support

We employ an experienced design team with years of combined specialist knowledge of traditional oak timber framed buildings and the techniques and materials used to build them. This invaluable high level of support is permanently made available for onsite personnel and our customers.

This enables our company to react extremely quickly to any unforeseen queries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally

Health & Safety Assessment

We have an established Health & Safety system which allows our company to confidently encompass this within our project management service on offer to our clients. This service reduces the roles and responsibilities of domestic clients in accordance with Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.

Our contract managers have completed Site Manager Safety Training and our company holds SMAS Worksafe accreditation as a Principal Contractor.

This together with constant supervision and regular safety system checks, assures our clients that we take Health and Safety very seriously and that every possible measure is being taken to reduce risk.

This high level of responsibility and awareness has been adopted by each and every member of our team.
