This storm damaged barn in Marden, Kent had collapsed and was in very poor condition. Our first task was to sort through and record all the timbers to determine which sections could be saved. Then began the careful restoration, repairing and reutilizing as many of the original timbers as possible. A fairly dramatic example which demonstrates how our historic timber framed buildings can be saved for future generations.
