This project required the merging of two small rooms to create a large, open living space.
Having first obtained Local Authority approvals we removed the adjoining wall, repaired and replaced the oak framework as necessary to support the room alterations. Due to the condition of the existing floor structure it also became necessary to provide new trench footings, construct a new oak floor joists and oak floor coverings. We are very pleased with the transformation which provides a vast improvement to the property.
The trap door to cellar is still there.........can you spot it!!
