Initially we were asked to look at the external panels which had been incorrectly repaired in the past using cement. This had inevitably led to the failure of the panels and ingress of water causing the oak frame to deteriorate.
We removed the hard cement panels to various elevations around the property and carried out conservation repairs to the oak frame. Once this had been completed our craftsmen reinstated the panels using a traditional lime render. A lime wash was then applied to all elevations.
The client then instructed us to manufacture a new oak extension to the Architects design and we then went on to supply and fit York stone paving and a brick edging.
We have been very pleased with all the work which Anthony Hicks have done for us. They have shown very great attention to detail, and provide excellent and personal customer service.
