We were contacted by our client wanted to extend his thatched property in Harlow, Essex. We were able to work with our client to provide a unique design that fitted their needs. We then submitted and successfully obtained planning permission. We project managed and undertook to complete works for this project which in addition to the new oak frame extension included the footings, drainage, internal brick flooring, internal plastering, bespoke oak joinery and external lime rendering. We then wen on to finish the project by landscaping the surrounding area, laying riven York stone paving and a new cobble set driveway. New thatch to the extension carried out and a coloured lime wash was applied to match the original property.
The finished two story oak frame extension looks stunning and our clients were very pleased with the additional living area and improvements to their home.
