Anthony Hicks employs dedicated teams of conservation craftsmen to complete structural and non structural repairs on a wide range of timber framed buildings. Their attention to detail and meticulous methods of repair have led to Anthony Hicks unrivalled reputation for successfully retaining the integrity of many outstanding historic buildings.

The initial part of the process of renovation includes an on-site assessment highlighting the most appropriate method of repair for each building. Both modern and traditional repair methods and materials are used where appropriate, including brickwork, wall cladding and traditional infill panels. Replacing defective timbers, profiled flitch plating, timber to timber splicing and other techniques are also used to a high and exacting standard to ensure the integrity of the building.

Anthony Hicks is also a major player in Lottery funded regeneration projects, and has a long and successful history of working with local authorities and conservation officers to achieve the best possible results on every project.
